Mission & Vision

A Message from our Principal, Ms Libby Denny

Bringing out the best in your daughter

OLSH College is situated on an attractive campus close to the Parish Church, Our Lady of the Rosary, and to the mother house of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.

The students of OLSH College represent many different language groups, and bring many talents to the College community – particularly in the curriculum areas of English, Mathematics, Human Society and its Environment and the Performing Arts.

The College offers a comprehensive programme of seasonal representative sport. Student leadership roles are highly developed. Scholarships are offered each year to Year 6 students with special abilities in Dance, Drama or Music, and to Year 7 to Year 11 students who are successful all rounders.

A community of the heart living and learning together

The members of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (OLSH) College, Kensington, form a diverse educational community which was founded by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in 1913, in the tradition of Jules Chevalier.

Our vision is to develop students who are confident, independent learners with a commitment to service in the wider community. The College offers students many opportunities for personal development through a broad range of courses and extra-curricular activities. Each student is encouraged to discover her special interests and talents.

The College motto is Regnet Christus, usually translated as ‘May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be everywhere loved’.
